THE ENGINEERING UNDERNEATH

Creative work, backed by serious engineering.

Before Pink Stack, Jake was an early engineer on Salesforce Marketing Cloud's Journey Builder and went on to lead its 25-person engineering organization. He then founded a product engineering company, grew it to $4M in revenue, and took more than a dozen companies from concept to market. Along the way: large-scale distributed and event-driven systems, graph and time-series data, realtime processing, identity and security, AI agents, and physical computing.

One thread. Different worlds.

A 64-second film in which one hot-pink line carries the story through water, sport, couture, racing, machinery, and a city. Made entirely in the studio on a generative pipeline built for it, to test story, motion, and sound before committing to a full production.

Experiments are part of the practice.

Not everything here has a client yet. These are the bench experiments that keep the studio's range honest: working pipelines, hardware on the desk, and interaction ideas tested before anyone asks for them. What starts on the bench becomes the technique the next project is built on.

    A Jetson Orin Nano watches a live camera, recognizes who is there, hands that to a language model, and speaks the answer. One loop, from lens to voice.

    Arduino and Raspberry Pi builds with sensors, servos, and small displays: the parts that let an installation see a person and do something about it.
